For some of my Beginner students this was their first Riesling – and what a way to start. It had a delightfully fragrant nose and aromas of citrus; lemon and lime along the tell-tale kerosene notes (don’t be perturbed). A strong and powerful structure with immense acidity, hints of slatey minerality and an extremely long finish. Yes it’s expensive – but I’m pleased to confirm you get what you pay for with this top quality example.
